About Waggy Walkies & Services
Our Story
Waggy Walkies & Services is here to offer the best walks for your dog/s. I am passionate about dogs and am committed to providing them with the love, care and happiness they deserve. I have over 30 years experience with dogs and have owned labradors specifically for 18 years. Although labradors are my passion, I love all dogs and am dedicated to giving all types, shapes and size dogs in my care the best I possibly can.
Puppies and dogs can become frustrated and bored if they don't get enough exercise. This can develop into undesirable behaviours, so exercise is very important especially going for a walk and exploring environments and socialising with other dogs.
I am fully insured with one of the best insurance companies Petplan and I am certified in Canine First Aid.
Our Approach
We understand all dogs are different and therefor take a personalized approach to dog walking and pet care. We understand that every dog is unique and has their own needs and preferences. That's why we work with you to develop a customized care plan for your canine friend.
All new dogs will need to undergo an assessment to ensure they are matched to the correct walk whether it be solo or group.
Our Services - Solo walks
Solo walks are for dogs that require or prefer 1-2-1 care whether it's because they may be nervous, boisterous, unfamiliar with other dogs or just prefer not to be around other dogs. Some dogs that start with solo walks may later go on to group walks when their confidence/ behaviour allows.
We offer a collection and return of your dog for their walk as standard.
Monday-Friday
Solo walk: £25 (1-2 hour walk not including travel)
2nd dog in same household: £10
Our Services - Group Walks
Group walks are for dogs who are socialised and enjoy the company of other dogs.
Dogs on group walks will be matched together where possible based on behaviour, age, characteristics and location.
We offer a collection and return of your dog for their walk as standard.
Monday-Friday
Group walk: £15 (1-2 hour walk not including travel)
2nd dog in same household: £10
Our Services - Puppies and older dogs
We also offer specialized services for puppies and senior dogs.
Some older dogs may require somebody to pop in to allow them an extra toilet break during the day and a short walk. This would be in your local area. Also to refresh water bowl and to clean up any accidents.
Puppies may also require an extra visit for toilet breaks, interaction, a play and a short walk (please note we will only walk a puppy within the Kennel Club's recommendation of 5 mins for every month of age). Also to refresh water bowl, give a small feed if required and clean up any accidents. These small steps contribute towards the puppy's socialisation and development.

New Service - Running or Canicrosss
For both types of running:
🐕🦺 Off road running.
🐕🦺 Dogs will be on a bungee lead to absorb shock and reduce impact of sudden movements.
🐕🦺 The bungee lead is attached to runners harness belt.
🐕🦺 Dogs will be warmed up, cooled down and given drinking water (aswell as stopping on route if needed for water)
🐕🦺 Pick up and drop off included.
🐕🦺 Dogs will only run within their capabilities. Interval running will be used to build dogs running fitness gradually increasing over time up to 5km.
🐕🦺 Dog are kept on a lead so works for dogs without full recall.
❌ For health reasons this service is not available for overweight, short muzzle or flat faced dogs.
